At Orillia Pet Hospital, we're passionate about making and keeping pets well, but our passion isn't just limited to the walls of our hospital! It extends to pets in the community as well.
Our mission is to help pets get the medical care they need, assist in pet rescue efforts, and help pets find loving homes!
We currently work with the Orillia SPCA and Precious Paws Rescue, if you'd like to learn more give us a call.
Pets burn extra energy by trying to stay warm in wintertime! Feeding your pet a little bit more during the cold weather months can provide much-needed calories, also make sure they have plenty of water to drink! This will help keep them well-hydrated and their skin less dry! www.orilliapethospital.com/
Repeatedly coming out of the cold into the dry heat of your home can cause your pet to have itchy, flaking skin! Keep your home humidified and make sure to towel dry your pet as soon as they come inside, paying special attention to their feet and in-between the toes. Don't forget to remove any snow balls from between his foot pads!
Did you recently bring home a new family member?! Congratulations! We know that when you do, it is such an exciting time! Along with all the excitement may also come questions regarding the next steps for their health. Part of the responsibility of pet ownership is understanding the importance of veterinary care for your special furry friend.
We understand you may have so many questions about food, vaccinations, spay/neuter procedures, oral health... the list goes on!
We are happy to discuss any questions you may have during out office hours! We look forward to meeting your newest addition (705) 325-4224
