This is not the proper way of installing an inline filter. Let us install the filer the proper way. a filter housing should be secure so that the weight of the filter with water isn't pulling down on the water lines which will eventually lead to a flood.

Are you planning on going on vacation this winter? If so don't forget to turn off the main water supply valve in your basement before leaving.
